I thought I would post this firstly because there are loads of threads about OCs going **** up so this may brighten the mood, and secondly because Im pretty chuffed I got this working!

My E4500 is sitting happily at 2.8Ghz, rock steady on Orthos!

One question is the RAM-my Ballistix DDR2 5300 is running at 780mhz, which is great in my opinion, but it has timings of 5 4 4 18. Is that last one a little lax? If so, whats the best way to go about changing it? I tried overclocking my RAM the other day and it wasnt too happy about it, so Im a little nervy when it comes to changing timings (frankly I understand very little about them!)

Just tried it, got BSOD saying IRQ not less or equal (I think-it didnt stay up that long!).
I know very little about RAM timings, so Im just going to make sure I am changing the right things. Should I be changing:
CAS latency time, DRAM rAS# to CAS#Delay, DRAM RAS# Precharge and Precharge Delay to 4-4-4-12 in that order?

Or have I changed completely the wrong thing?

Yep, thats what Ive done-it didnt like it!
There was one subtiming that was already on 0 for some reason, which I left like that. When I put RAM timings on auto it is at 36-could that be the problem?

I tried it on 5-5-5-15 and it boots fine, so I think I will just leave it at that for now-its good enough for me!
