Dropped my ybr twice in the last week both low speed but it appears to have knocked something out with the steering, you now have to turn the bars to actually get it going in a straight line.
I've loosened off the clamps on the forks and tried to straighten it up but that doesn't seem to have totally sorted it but it did seem to help a little or I've just imagined it.

Anyone have any other ideas before I give in and take a hit to the wallet at a garage?

Here's a couple of pictures with the bars turned so the wheel is going straight.

Looks like your head stock has twisted very common just do what you did before but with more teddy, wheel between your legs, and give it a good yank.

That would make sense as like I said I'm sure it helped a little, I'll give it another go tomorrow maybe get my house mate to put his bulk to some use and give it a good yank.

I bent my bars coming off at about 10mph. Garage replaced for me for about £100.

Easily DIY but I need it every day for work so though it was reasonable.

P.S - stop dropping it / riding in the ice! I'm in the car this week as it's not worth the risk as you're finding out. You can be as careful as you like but physics is physics! :p

I know, I know the bike is my only transport though and I thought I'd be alright sticking to the main roads obviously not :(

you might be better off buying a second hand pair of bars rather than trying to straighten them yourself, you never seem to get them right

Just picked up a new set for £35 so I'll give my current ones a bashing to see if they'll straighten out and if not I've got a back up set.
