Hi Guys,

I plan on installing YDL on my pc over the next couple of days, i already have vista on my pc so would like a dual boot, is it just a case of booting from the YDL disc and installing on a seperate partition or is there something else i need to do on the pc? if i do it using the above method will this setup a dual boot?

TIA

G

isn't YDL, PowerPC architecture, only?

i.e. for the old Gx class CPU Macs and IBM PowerPC powered systems, or has it changed?

You're correct. It WILL NOT install on any machine that runs Vista. Check out the hardware page: http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/support/hardware/breakdown/

GTCole, you'll have to select a different distro.

to be honest, even if he could install it, i wouldn't bother... YDL is based on Fedora Core (IIRC) which isn't a patch on ubuntu - which runs on nearly every platform imaginable.
