Haha Ive got my my ol phenom 9850Be system goin strong in a Antec 300 case well cooled and a 5770 along side it.

I know the original series were never that great for there overclocking potential but what sucess has anyone ever had around here with this processor or the phenom x4s?

Im thinking of overclocking this thing a little bit.

Im thinking of overclocking this thing a little bit.

I had mine clocked at 3.0 with a little adjusts to the voltage on W7 64bit but i am on a water, if your on 32bit you can push to 3.1 or 3.2 if your lucky.

Im on W7 64 Bit Atm my temps are around 35 idle and it goes up to about 41/42 load.
Air ofc. Im just waiting for some new things i was hoping to get up up to around 3ghz myself.

What type of settings were you using and ram mobo etc?

side note - Wow The new Hexacore chips are incredibly cheap.
