i have a plex server that I am using more and more.

q9550 / 4gb/ 2*2tb / 1*40gb in sx38p2 how much will it cost to leave on 24/7?

How much power does it draw from the wall? How much does a KW/hr cost?

I'm assuming the disks spin down when not in use? You'd ideally measure how much power the system is drawing but that q9550 will be sitting idle most of the time so I'd wager your average power draw over 24 hours is going to be well under 100W.

I did a quick calculation using 13.45p per kWh across various average power draws as an example,

100w = 32p a day , thats better than I thought it would be.
