Yellow Asterix USB

After a reinstall of windows XP I have a yellow asterix by the USB icon in device manager. I am unable to update it by right clicking and directing it to the XP disk. A fast answer much appreciated.

uninstall it and just reboot. Windows will put it back on and all should be fine

Download the correct motherboard drivers and install if the above doesn't/hasn't work/ed.

Windows and USB don't always quite mix right I find with new installations.
