yellow screen

hi guys been using my monitor while ive been fixing some old computer for a friend, yesterday when i connect it all back up to my set up i have a yellow tinge to my screen it not the graphics card as ive also tryed on board graphics, i dont think its the screen as when i shut pc down the no signal box that comes up is it usual light blue colour any ideas?

hi there, i know this problem very well, the connection cables that you use for the image to the screen are not connected properly, or the pins are damaged, i have come across this problem quite a lot with old cables and computer systems, also this may be the plug in the monitor, check that they are not damaged or bent.

none of the pins are bench and i have never removed the cable from the back of monitor so must be damaged the other end from changing into different pc tower's is there any reasonably prices cables out there that are decent and dont brake as easy?
 
Just buy a cheap cable at a store and test. As long as you dont move the cable all the time theres no problem but when you move, bend the cable a lot cheap cables break easily. You can always return it if the cable isnt the problem.
