Just been playing FIFA 11.

Love the game, think its brilliant.

Why oh why, after 2 previous FIFAs of people online quitting, have they not sorted this out. If they quit, then you get the points to progress a few more levels. Not difficult surely? If you punished the people that quit, so it recorded it as a win for you, then the quitting would be minimal.

Why have EA not done something.

I hate EA. I almost chopped my foreskin off at the last game. Got all the way to penalties, I won, and at the last few seconds quit. Fuming.

Wouldn't be difficult to fix, players who quit should get a negative rep, so when you challenge up you can see if they're likely to do it or not.

The alternative of awarding the winning player points/wins because other person quit would lead to boosting however.
 
Oof, that's a bad one! Still counts as a win for you though?

I think the ideal situation would be that you get points based upon the score when the opponent quits, just as it would be if they didn't quit.
