YES! AT LAST!!!

Thx for the info, will pass it aong to my mate, who loves the online games like this. I'll just stick to the DOW series and hope they make a new cracking one as good as Dark Crusade :)

Fantastic news, hopefully its not "years" away, as I would skip Age Of Reckoning and go straight to this one. But cant see it being released til 2009 earliest

I still have some Citadel Space Marine - Space Wolves (somewhere) which I painted, the warhammer side didnt appeal to me like the technologically advanced military side. The only thing with turning it into an MMO, is that space marines are meant to look identical being a Military group and the first thing in an MMO is always to customise and individualise your character. You can have any number of customisations on a Space marine but it signifies rank and fighting prowess. Unless everyone is identical (fighting under a certain banner: Space Wolves, Blood marines ect.), and then is customisable as they gain skills; I cant see how it would work.

Guilds = space marine chapters, if they've any sense - you'd get to design your own armour for the guild. Could work really well in RvR, if your guild is particularly good at it, it would scare the bejeesus out of the enemy when they recognise a particular chapter entering the battle.

lol just the thought about guilds/chapters arouses me ;)

depending on how deep they go into the game it could be totally amazing. There are so many races you could be but you would assume they focus on the space marines, which isn't a bad thing... but i wouldn't mind being a tyranid ;)

as for the whole customise your character there are lots of different armour types, and different variations on the same armour so you could have a fair amount of customisability... then there are the weapons.. loads of different weapons all highly customisable

It could because you would form Chapters instead of guilds. Libarians, Chaplins, Sargents and other special charaters add to the mix. I find the idea of roaming around as Libarain in terminator amour. Like kyle and hot pants. Meant to go together

This HAS to a MMOFPS. They have the MMORPG in the soon to be released Warhammer. The sci-fi version has gotta be FPS :(

MMOFPS in Warhammer 40k universe  Sweet Jesus Mary and Joseph I now need to changed me keks.

I totally agree I doubt Ill play any more MMORPGs (its too much like building a sandcastle). Id be happy if it was like America's Army but with new weapons, maps and characters and the honour system would fall hand in hand with an armour/weapon/bling upgrade path. ;)
