AMDx2 4400 to new spec required...
Hi,
I would like a system to replace my AMD x2 4400\7800gtx based system with something more recent and I would appreciate anyones help in specifying a suitable system to my budget.
I would like it to do a number of things, Gaming (Counterstrike:Source, Call Of Duty 4, Armed Assault .. yes Crysis eventually and Alan Wake) and encoding video, office tasks etc pretty much everything that everyone does with their systems as it will be my main system from now on.
I've been looking at the Q6600 because of the number of posts sugesting it as 'best bang for your buck'. But am open to sugestions, I already have from this system a Corsair HX 620W to reuse and a Dell 2405fpw 24" monitor so don't need those.
Apart from that recomendations for everything else would be much appreciated. I would especially appreciate any input on a motherboard that has the max number of SATA connections, Esata, Firewire etc and a Case that is Tool less if possible.
Budget is around £700 if possible, maybe a little more, but not too much more.
