Okay so I'm a fool,

I've got my 20" HDTV/Monitor for about 4 months now and I've been using Mono the WHOLE time I've had it.

I started noticing more lately that the sound wasn't working correctly as on some songs where they use the Left and Right speakers at different times for certain lyrics I couldn't hear them out the Right at all.

Anyway I've been fiddling around this week trying to fix it, downloaded the Realtek Sound Manager changed it to 8Channel Sound and now it works fine :D

Enjoying Dolby Virtual with 2 Speakers now and it's so much louder, had to turn it up to max for some Videos now it only needs to be at half of that!

Much more bass on it too. :D

Lol! Bet it sounds a whole world better now! Some people only notice when they hear a song with really obvious panning, but the sutble panning used on just about every recording is what gives tracks a sense of space.

Reminds me of when I had finished a mix and played it on the CD player to check it, thought it sounded awful then eventiually realised something was up with the connection and it was being made into mono :D

Some of my songs sounded so naff without 2 Speakers/Headphones :(
Got some TV shows to watch on the PC later looking forward to Stereo! :D

The built-in speakers on flatscreens TV's are rubbish, I would advise you buy a decent system asap. Machine guns sound like clocks ticking, really that bad. Used three flatscreens and even for TV watching disabled them entirely.

Had a few people round, they have LCD's, think built-in sound from their set was fab. Jumped out of there chair, although to be expected as the floorboards flex during action sequences. :D

I thought they would be crap, but these are very very good speakers sound a lot better than my old TV set (Which was a pretty snazzy 28" Sony)

When I first got the Tele though I thought back to my old monitors built in speakers they were tinny and had no bass, these ones got perfect bass and don't sound tinny at all :D
