I'm really happy with the purchases, but the KS7000 needs quite a bit of calibration, so I will likely have to take my X-rite 1 display calibrator from work and give it a go. Probably need to spend at least the morning on it.

HDR images are noisy from Netflix, but I am streaming over wi-fi. Amazon seems to fare a bit better. As for Blu-ray content, I will have to buy an Xbox One S for HDR blu-ray at some point in the future.

As for the PS4. I had a bit of a meltdown when I realised the PS4 Pro didn't work with the components in the box. The HDMI cable supplied with the console would not send a signal to my TV, even though the same cable worked when I tested it with my PC.

I then used a random HDMI cable I had lying around and it worked. I have no idea why a random cable worked and a cable that was supplied with the console did not... odd!

It's kind of like an early Christmas for me. I have a new TV and console, next week my razor laptop AND my Tesla arrives. Happy days. Although the wife is making me wait until Christmas to open the laptop. I've been extremely lucky over the last few years with work and worked extra hard, but the spending spree will have to stop for a few years now! haha

Doesn't make much sense. The HDMI cable is rated for 4K!

The only thing I can think of is that they mistakenly put a wrong batch of cables in or that I was just unlucky? It might be that I inserted it incorrectly at first and damaged it? I doubt that though as I have inserted 100's of HDMI cables in the past and not once damaged one!

Have read reviews saying the KS7000 suffers with stuttering. Have you noticed any problems? Asking as it is a set I'm considering.

I've noticed minimal judder. I'm extremely picky and even I can't fault the TV that much. Unless you are willing to spend 1k more on a LG OLED, you're likely get a lot of issues inherent with LED. But saying that's i heard the judder on the OLED's is worse so... for £999 you can't go wrong!

I upgraded from a Sony 4K TV from 2014 and I can't be happier! The main issue for me is the back panel coming away and some edge bleed.

I have the KS7000 and do notice judder on certain TV channels, it's actually pretty bad at times on my TiVo recordings. I've had two of these now with the same issues. Had MTV TiVo box replaced to rule that out, I don't feel it handles motion that well. Having it swapped out for a Sony 9305 next week.
