I bumped my multiplier from 40 to 42 this evening. Ran prime for a couple of minutes, Then ran Intel burn test. Passed the test ok.

Maximum temps reached were, core 1 to 4, 55, 66, 64, 65.

A whopping 10 degrees lower on core 1 than the other 3 cores.

Does this mean I should consider reapplying thermal paste to provide good coverage on cores 2, 3 and 4?

(Temps as I type this are, core 1 to 4, 32, 38, 33, 36.)

And thanks for your help folks.

The intel burn tests don't look accurate what G flops is it reporting ? it should be well over 50 gflops sec

Ran Intel Burn test again. Maximum stress level. Got 58Gflops sec. Temps were 54, 64, 61, 63 degrees

EDit: Just ran prime for 90 minutes. Temps max'd out at 54, 64, 61, 64. That 1st core is pretty consistently lower than the rest.
