Yet another bizarre Exchange 2007 issue

Outlook 2003 users when they perform a manual send/recieve they get this error

Exchange Server Reported Error '0x8004010f' The Operation Failed

The solution to this is to add the offline address book in server configuration........however, when i do that people seem to lose the ability to right click on a file (say an excel file) and use the send to email option. They get an operation error message.

The issues do not effect mail coming in and out for the Outlook 2003 users.

Outlook 2007 users have no issues.

Sounds like it might very well be some kind of compatibility problem to me mate.

I know that Outlook 2007 clients run fine with Exchange 2003, but not sure about Outlook 2003 clients running on Exchange 2007.

Had a similar problem today. Doing an 03 -> 07 upgrade. Turned out to be a problem with OWA configuration.

What did you configure your internal and external addresses to be?
