Yet another memory question!

I have 4x1g Geil DDR2-667 (333), the problem is my speed is at a stated 440. Why is this? Is it due to my o/c?

EDIT: Ok, just figured it out...I'm on a 220x13 (2860MHz)...220x2 (DDR) = 440!!!! Stupid me Come to think of it, is that what a 1:1 ratio is or is it summat else?

Ah, ok cool so I'm not too far off my rated speed, that's good news. Just wished I took that PC course at college now and not NVQ Level 3 in The Dark Arts of Guess Work.... Thanks for the insight
