Yes, another Paypal thread (sorry).

I've looked through Paypals FAQs and tried to ring them but I'm not getting through, might have to try again in a few minutes, but someone here might know what's going on.

I've just bought something on ebay for £350, when I try to pay for it I get this:

So I go to the Paypal site, log in and it says this:

So has anyone, per chance, experienced this before and got around it without having to wait weeks for them to verify?

TIA.

It's a legal requirement for them to check your details out in more detail once you have reached that limit. You'll be asked to prove ID basically, just like when opening a bank account.

Just clicked it, get this:

Hmm. Can I get around this by opening another Paypal account with another email address and go at it that way?

Go to account overview, by balance there will be a view limit link.
Click on it, then select lift limit, and follow the instructions.

Not unless you've got another bank account as it'll remember the one linked to your current account for a while and you can't use it with 2
