i picked the IP35 due to its better OCing ability over the IP35-E or GA-P35-DS3L
i picked the HIS ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 256MB over my prefered choice of OcUK ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail as that card has been on preorder since time began and i am not aware of when it is comming into stock. the OCUK 8800GT would be even better but was outside of the budget, get it if you can afford it as it is a much better card

my psu choice would be a corsair HX520 with a case of your choice, but your £350 budget only allowed a case+PSU combo

ok thanks for the feedback mate.

Ill take your advice and go for the corsair HX520 PSU or can get away with the 450w version :)

So what about the 512mb graphic card is it not worth the extra cash? I think it depends on what resolution ill be playing on, i have a 19" monitor and a 26" lcd tv connected so may use that sometimes.

I have done a little research and i found people having problems with the artic cooler and abit ip35 motherboard where the fan had problems fitting on board next to the heatsink.

also i was'nt aware about the Thermal Compound i just assumed id get some with the cpu fan.

tempted to go over budget and buy the 8800.

I've got an IP35 and Freezer 7 Pro and I didn't experience any issues with the heatsink.

My current specs are almost identical to that - IP35, E2180, 2GB GeIL, OcUK 8800GT 512MB, and it can play CoD4 on max everything @ 1280x1024 really smoothly.

It's a great spec for the price - well worth it :)
