Right,
I installed my phneom II and everything fine, but as my heatsink got stuck on my hd 4850 i am using my old hd 2600pro, last night when i rebooted it it said physical memory dump then refused to boot again, this morning i tried it still same thing. hat could be the problem, i was thinking it could be conflicting drivers as i forgot to install my hd 4850 drivers when i installed my2600 pro drivers, if so would a fresh install of xp sort it?, and also i do not want to wipe my hardrive as i have a lot of steam games on it so i am going to see if my dad has any old ones lying around or something?, any other ideas would be great,

PS: i cannot get into xp so cannot do a system restore.

Thanks

If you can get into safe-mode launch a system restore from there.
I wouldn't have thought the gfx drivers would cause this tbh. Have you tried resetting the CMOS? It may have become corrupt if you've been swapping cards in and out.
