Yet another reason not to use internet explorer.

So here the other night i had a friend go onto my FTP server and get something that he needed only to have a microsoft server trying to login 30 minutes later and guess what he told me, that he had used internet explorer to access my ftp.

Here is the snip from my server log. I have removed any sensitive data with *

Seems to me like IE is doing the same thing as skype has been doing.. relaying info to MS. Have any of you experience something similar before?
