Heya :D

I'm contemplating getting some Logitech z-5500's tomorrow.

My main interests would be music via my PC (I have an X-Fi Xtreme Music card), DVD watching of course, and general TV watching. But I'm unsure if I can connect everything at once...

1. I presume my soundcard can be connected to the speakers using a presumably supplied with the z5500s cable taking the 3.5mm outputs from it into the speakers. This takes up the three inputs on the z-5500s.

2. My TV has two RCA out sockets, a red and a white. If I buy an RCA to 3.5mm cable, can I plug this into the side socket on the Z-5500s and still get (upmixed to 4.1 as in all speakers working) stereo audio from the TV?

3. That leaves my DVD player which has an SPDIF output. What sort of cable do I need to connect that to the Z-5500's please in order to get 5.1 audio, please?

Thanks for any help in advance :)

Lovely! Thanks so much for your help :D

My soundcard sadly doesn't have a digital output, well it does, but it's just as easy to use the three standard connectors.
