Been thinking of an upgrade... (for a long time!) ...this will have to be bought in installments so I've tried to get the best bang-for-buck with each purchace as possible...

Let me know what changes you'd make (keep in mind, I'm poor lol)

And before the obvious first question: Yes, I have already got a case/OS/monitor/keyboard+mouse

Only other question is re: my PSU... I've got an HX520 in my current rig, would I need a more beefy one in this setup?

OK, ditched the Xonar, I'll stick with my Audigy for now... or the onboard as it's probably better! (the audigy is probably the grandfather of the onboard audio now isn't it lol)

Forgot about the "K" thing, I would've been fuming if I'd got a locked cpu! and no, the 2500 will do just fine - loving the fact you're doing 'guaranteed overclock' chips again!

Am I able to get an 1155 mount kit for my TRUE? if so, I'll stick with that - if not, I'll be getting a Silver Arrow (OcUK, get some in stock! I don't wanna buy it elsewhere!!)

Even managed to shave over £150 off there nice one hehe

Watch this space (over the next few months...) I might start accumulating boxes of goodies

May even ditch the optical drive for now... I have one I can install an OS from, I don't really use it to be honest... it's just taking up space lol

Yeah, smart caching drew me to the z68 in the first place will I really notice any real-world speed increase with that? Or is it just a benchmark type benefit?

And I do have a SATA DVD drive, thanks for pointing it out though
