My current car is starting to cost me money so I'm in the market for something else.
At the moment I drive a 1998 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec and have done for nearly 6 years but now things are starting to go wrong.
I work in London, commute by train and live within walking distance of the station so I don't rely on a car to get to work.
Basically I want something that's going to be reliable, but would also like something that is a bit quicker and more fun than my Focus so when I do take the car out at weekends I can enjoy myself.
Practicality is not a major concern, but it should be able to fit a set of golf clubs in the boot and also let me travel up to Manchester in comfort every couple of months to see my family.
Budget: Well, I am currently saving for a deposit for a house so as little as possible! Realistically £5K - I can afford more and probably would pay a bit more for the perfect car, but it's hard to justify it when it will only really be used at weekends (~5,000 miles a year) and will eat into my deposit more.
