Yet another spec me a PC for a friend thread

I have a friend who wants the best bang for buck gaming PC he can get for his flexible budget of £1500.

He only needs the tower and has everything else including the monitor etc. He's coming from an old 6000 series i5 and 1070 TI.

Only requirement is the ability to play modern AAA games

Thanks gents, but he's now decided to up his budget to around £2.5k

@Tetras that's a stonking build mate, what would you do with a higher budget?
