Not sure I'll go ahead with it yet, but toying with the idea of a new monitor. I currently have a 24" Samsung 244T (1920x1200) which I'm quite happy with it. It's about 13 years old at this point, but works great and don't have any problems with it. Main reason to upgrade would just be to have an upgrade.
I was thinking 27" as don't want something overly big - have a 55" TV that I use for watching things now and use my PS4 there as well. I did see a curved 27" in a store and was surprised that I actually liked the look of it as I always thought it was a bit gimmicky, but was just a few minutes in a store.
What would people recommend by way of a 27" monitor (curved and non-curved)? I'm not sure what of the other features (144hz, freesync/g-sync) etc. I should care about as know very little here. At the moment, I mainly play Titanfall 2 and some old school games. Fired up Witcher 3 last night which is a bit graphic intensive and got Gears of War 4 as well.
My specs are below - I did just put in the GFX card section asking for a recommendation there, so that might get upgraded. If the upgraded monitor will mean all my games will struggle without an upgrade, that would be good know.
I don't have a particular budget in mind - my current one was £600 when I bought it but looking on OcUK, they generally seem to be cheaper now.
