Yet another Spec Me Thread.. LCD Monitor Vs LCD TV

I currently have a Dell 2405 which I need to replace as there is no HDCP. I am looking to have another 24" monitor which will be used with the following:

VGA/HDMI - Xbox 360 (for HD-DVD playback)
HDMI - PS3 (for BluRay playback)
DVI - PC connection (for gaming)

I was tempted with the Iiyama 24" Wide PLB2403WS-B1 HDMI TFT but apparently it is not too good for HD content

If money was no object then of course I would consider the Dell 3008 just for giggles but alas finances will be stretched so will stick with a 24"er. Does anyone have a decent monitor around the £350-£400 which they could recommend?

Another thought is to simply dump the idea of a LCD monitor per se and get a larger LCD TV for around the same money as I have seen a few firsthand that could sway me away from settling for just a monitor.

Any thoughts?

At that price range and for what you want to use it for, i would reccomend an LCD HD TV over a monitor.

Get a TV that can do 1920x1080 native screen so looking at 37" realistically. Depends if you have the space for something that size.

There are a few 32" coming out that do 1920x1080 I believe Sharp have one out if you can't fit a 37".

Obviously will need to be sat further away.
