I'm looking for a 22-24" monitor with a native res of 1920x1080 (1920x1200 won't do). It needs to support interlaced resolutions (480i and 576i at minimum) so it will probably need to have an HDMI or component video connection. Component would be highly prefered over HDMI as it would save me buying a compoent to HDMI converter.

I'd like to avoid the butt-ugly curved bottomed ones that seem so popular with samsung and LG at the moment if thats possible.

I've had a look at the monitors OCUK stock but I dont see any that fit the bill :(

Why not 1920*1200? If you want 480i and 576i, unless you want the image to stretch, you'll need 1:1 mapping too. Generally, 1:1 mapping only comes with the more expensive monitors, and with the more expensive monitors, you usually either get 1680*1050 or 1920*1200.

Also, what are you hooking it up to that uses component and 480/576i resolutions?

It needs to be 1920x1080 as i'll be cloning the image to a projector. It's also replacing my TV so it needs to support those interlaced resolutions for games consoles and a freeview box (upconverted to component via an amp i've bought on the MM)
