Budget - £150 - £200
Use - mostly indoor family photos, general purpose
with my first daughter imminent having had a conversation with a friend recently the suggestion of buying a better camera than what I currently have seems more appealing than ever.
Currently only have camera phone (HTC for what it matters)
Currently I am looking at a canon Eos M, but am put off by 2 things
1 - The reports on the general slowness of the AF
2 - the flash has to be attached separately and seems to make the camera not that "compact"
Will the above 2 issues get on my nerves much, or should I just go for the Eos M ?
If not what alternatives are there at this price point that won't sacrifice on picture quality ?
I am not looking to get into photography in anyway, this will be for general point and shoot type stuff. I am assuming, given my needs a compact/mirrorless is the way to go rather than a DSLR ?
