Volvo v70 awd turbo, 205.55.16, will also take 215.

Got rainsport 2, but the 2 fronts are damaged due to the paper sidewalls.

Thinking of conti premium contact 2 for 80 quid a corner. Can't afford more than that really.

Any other recommendations? Needs to be fairly robust as its a heavy car.
Not fussed about soft sporty compounds, more a cruiser type thing.

Thanks

Less than £80 a tyre I guess?

I recommend these. The make will make most think ditch finders.

But they have a thoroughbred in rallying for many years. Auto express were well impressed by them.

They have an XL load rating too ideal for estate. Your local National tyres can fit them.

Should probably add, low noise high comfort is a priority, but obviously a good all rounder.
The rainsport suited me well but i have lost faith in them, they are just too wallowyy, and fragile the sides

Currently have conti PC 2's on the MX5 and I would say they definitely are quieter and give a smoother ride than some yokos that were on before. Also despite not being specifically aimed at sporty driving (like conti sport contacts), they have very satisfactory grip levels as tested by myself on spirited drives.

Wet grip also good in my opinion.
