My socket A set up is looking very tired now so I think it's time for a full upgrade. The only parts I'll take over are the HDD's. My budget is £750, so how is this spec:

MB-014-DF DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-014-DF)

CA-000-AR Arctic Cooling T1 Silentium Silent Midi Tower Case - 450W Seasonic Silent PSU (CA-000-AR)

CD-025-NE NEC ND4550 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Silver) - OEM (CD-025-NE)
£25.50 £25.50
Subtotal £669.75
VAT £117.21
Total £786.96

As far as gfx goes most people say that the x1800's are quicker but it's £20 more than the 7800gt. As far as the ram goes the OCZ is worth the extra IMO.

Definitely a better setup.

The X1800XT (generally beats the 7800GTX 256mb) so its a fair bit quicker than the 7800GT & at just £20 more its really the better buy.

Cool thanks that sounds good. I also forgot to mention that I don't need a DVD-RW as I already have an LG 16 X Dual Layer DVD-RW. So that looks like a good spec. How are those Arctic Cooling cases?
