Lo all,

OK so I've decided pretty much on most of my new i5 2500k rig. Most likely going to go for the gtx 560t ti. But need new monitor!

I'm going to be using it for about 95% gaming (Mostly FPS) and then other general use.

Budget is roughly 200 notes. Although preferably a bit under. 170 ish ideally unless there are better than the below.

As I'm lead to believe these two are good options:

and

now I'm not really up on new technologies but the Benq has only had a bad review re the response time. and the Samsung, well I've head nothing bad about that so far.

What do you reckon? something else entirely? one of these? Havin a nightmare deciding!

Much appreciated in advance for any input ..

If you are mainly gaming then the Samsung is a great choice with your budget.

If you are willing to stretch your budget a bit, then for £28 over budget you can get the IPS panel Dell U2311H. This is a really nice bit of kit, here is an in-depth review.

Samsung are really coming through with their tech. Gone are the days where you would say "who is Samsung" or associate them with budget branding. Being privileged to a little insider heads up from Samsung, I can honestly say they have really turned their quality and public image around.

Cheers people. I did really want to stick at 24" though. You reckon that the Dell 23" and the 22" 120 hz stated above would be a noticeable improvement on a 24" in my budget range?
Weighing up the loss of a couple of inches against 120hz is a bit tricky.
I know it's all down to personal preference but some sites rave about the 120hz, others say its meh.
