following on from this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17771662, managed to get into windows fine

went to install graphic drivers and computer reset and got a message saying system file was corrupt and i needed to do a repair of windows, tried again and it just booted fine, but keep getting non responding programs and errors, all from a fresh install

reformatting now doing a full format and am going to run memtest and stuff on it

what could be causing the problems this time??

upon this install i have managed to get yet another copy error that i cannot get past without skipping it :(

file copy errors are quite often signs of dodgy memory - or maybe the settings aren't right such as latency and voltage. :)

use memtest - of course you already know that.... :p

can RAM just die like that then, because it was fine for a month or two

tried a number of times to get a boot disk to work but it just never boots form the cd :(

just tried again, and nothing, im pretty sure im burning it right just comes up with NTDLR not present ctrl+alt+delete to reset
