I have managed to get a Gamecube Wavebird that wasnt silly money... :eek:

Pity its not the platinum one but nevermind... Its amazing how silly the prices of these are on the net... For saying they are years old..

Utter git, i WANT one, but instead i've resorted to just selling all of my gamecube games so the temptation will go away.

Noooo Dont do it.. There are a couple of second hand ones on the bay.. Just decide the max you wanna pay and snipe away... Got the entire RE collection on the way...

^ They are still the best controllers for the VC N64 downloads and work on some Wii gamse - Wii Mario Kart is great with them.

Annoyingly I owned a platinum Wavebird which I sold a few years ago, but do own two normal grey Wavebirds (from New) and wouldn't part with. My hope is that Nintendo re-issues these controllers after they re-issued the normal GC pad in white in Japan (and easily available).

Normal GC controllers are acceptable if you can put up with the lead.

LATE EDIT - got all the REs too, although I have to admit RE2, RE3, RE:CV and RE4 Wii are all still in shrink wrap. Terrrible thing to admit and I just haven't got the time to play all these games...argh. Nice purchases by the way.
