Right, I have an Apple TV2 running a tethered jailbreak.
I've been using seaonpass to boot tethered whenever its been moved or we've lost power etc.
That was on my macbook which I gave back to work the other day, anyway obviously the thing froze today and needed rebooting so I grabbed my GFs laptop and stuck seasonpass on there, I went to create ipsw and then I was stuck, I had no idea which one I needed so I went for 5.3.
it asked me to save the hardware signatures a few times but every time I tried it just said it couldn't so I went for it with 5.3
However now it won't boot tethered as it says 5.3 doesn't need it, I can't create an IPSW for 5.2 as it says thats not eligible..
have I totally screwed it?
I know I can restore it to being an Apple TV but I need XBMC for it to have a point so any ideas what I do now?
