hi guys im looking for a GeForce GTX 295 with HDMI + audio support for under £340 iv looked on the site but i cant tell if the OCUK value one dose it (dosnt say in description

any help will be usefull

HDMI should carry audio through it anyway; so if it says HDMI I would expect it to utilise audio as well.

You will be waiting a very very long time for one of those cards mate if they ever come back in stock again that is, you have more chance of getting a xfx 5970 black edition than one of those now.

i need it so i can play Games at higher rez on my TV (50 inch ) only suppports 1024 x 768 at 60hz over VGA (2 small ) so i wanted to use the HDMI port for higher rez

i tryed getting a DVI to HDMI adaptor but it hasnt worked

im using the xfx 8800 GTX just now (audio isnt relly inportment but would be perfered though)

HDMI will carry audio anyway, so you're fine with that.

the 58xx series, to the best of my knowledge, has HDMI outs.

Is your TV 1080p? If not, you won't get a higher resolution than that...

5770 and 58xx support hdmi and i know the 5870 has decent audio support , dont really know about the others but im sure they will

ATi cards are the best you're gonna get for what you want.

ATi cards have native HDMI and HDMI audio too.

Everyone has issues with certain manufacturers some times, if you vowed never to use certain "brands" again, you'll soon end up not being able buy any decent graphics cards.

I was like that once upon a time, i went with Intel and Nvidia only, mainly because they were the most popular and i had never used AMD or ATI. Purchased a new computer in August (check my sig out) and i'm glad i jumped ship. Cheaper, runs basically the same/better and if you give a damn about the environment, the technology provides low power consumption.

Seriously, jump ship and save yourself some cash.
