Hi there

M3's Michelin cups are on the markers more or less, so after next track event they will need immediate replacement. I want a tyre with far better road manners and my no.1 easy choice MPSS is not available in the size I want.

So I've narrowed it down to F1AS2, superb wet tyre, OK dry performance but with mixed reports on feedback/sportiness of the tyre. Some say its good with great feedback and others report it to be numb and not ideal for people who enjoy driving. At £130 a corner they are fair price.

But the other option is the latest Yokohama Advan Sport V105 which again gets mixed reviews, some show it as the best wet handling/grip tyre with excellent dry performance and incredible levels of feedback. Kind of as one would expect from the manufacturer that makes so many track specific tyres. Yet other reviews don't rate it highly at all.

So I know enough people who have F1AS2's who all say the same to me, great tyre but for me I might find them a little disappointing. But I know no one with V105's, anyone here with experience of them good or bad?

Id just skip it and get ad08r.

I want a tyre with great road manners or excels on a wet track. For dry track work I have slicks.

Also AD08R are over £200 a corner in 265/18/35 whereas the V105 and F1AS2 are about £130 a corner, a good £300 saving on a set.
