Supposed to be a kids program but will obviously go over their heads.

I saw the adverts for it but assumed it would be aimed at children so gave it a miss

Try and get the first episode and give it a go but keep an open mind.
It's very Monty Python which might put some off.

I've watched the first 3 episodes of this, and while I think it's a good concept, it just seems a bit too "try hard" for my liking. Its forced comedy/stupidity which ends up feeling a bit cringeworthy/awkward (although maybe that's the point

).

That being said, I'll carry on watching a few episodes and see if gets any better.

I watched the first one with the wife and kids, think they've watched at least another one. Seems alright.

I too initially avoided it as it seemed "one for the kids". As Series 1 finished I watched an episode and got totally hooked.
Still really enjoying it - good fun.

me too - its kid safe but genuinely funny and charming.

The Horrible Histories gang really got it right with this one in my book (although I'm a sucker for the Horrible Histories stuff as well

)
