okay i gettiong very confused last arcitecture i heard was penry and i thought Yorkfield/Wolfdale was like a version of penry =/ some one clear this up for me and which one most overclockable?

Wolfdale is dual core Penryn.

Yorkfield is quad core Penryn.

Penryn is the die shrink of the Core architecture (thats in Q6600 CPUs, E6600s etc) and is 45nm instead of 65nm. Its basically the same apart from the die shrink and has a few extra features.

Basically offers a small performace increase at stock speeds and runs cooler than the respective 65nm counterparts.

wolfdale/yorkfield - 6mb/12mb cache (yorkfield with a few exceptions)
