Great, I think I speak for most when I say we don't want you trading in the members' market if that's your attitude.
It's not something you're entitled to and is a system all current members appreciate. There is no discrimination, as I said it's not something you are entitled to. It's a perk of being an active member of the forums.

I was trying to give a favour to someone interested in upgrading their water pump for free. Bought one but realised it won't fit my case. Thanks to the forum rules my post has been deleted, so I have to chose a slower route and sell it on ebay. Oh, well never mind, I just overestimated the forum.
This forum is more than just a trading post. Most of the sub-forums have little communities of their own who help, berate, wind up, debate each other in a (mostly) friendly manner. As a reward to those who contribute we have the Members Market section. The rules regarding entry are there to protect the members from unscrupulous traders who are there simply to make a profit. That you wanted to help by giving someone a good deal (so you say) is admirable but MM access is not predicated on altruistic acts - you have to be a member of the family first.
You have dismissed us because of this one simple rule, that's your choice. You're missing out in my opinion. I've been here for around 15 years (before the forum reset in 2002) and have enjoyed the ride.

You're lucky you got out as soon as you did.
I've pretty much ruined my life in my campaign to reach the mythical 1k, and then all I found were people selling second-hand pairs of socks.
