Saw this on twitter but for you Reddit people I thought I'd share the article here, it's an old Spectator article about a trans-woman who got in a bit of trouble as a member of the green party when she appointed her father as her election officer after he'd been arrested and was on bail for some rather serious offences, including kidnapping and abusing a 10 year old child in the attack of the family home!

Allegedly Reddit has since employed her, apparently, she was unaware of her dad's antics re: the 10-year-old getting abused in the attic of the home she lived in. Anyway article is here:

And this is what happened in some "subreddit" thing when someone shared it:

Seems pretty chilling, there is plenty more rather odd stuff about this individual out there too, her husband incidentally has made some rather dubious paedo related tweets too:

I fantasize about children having sex, sometimes with adults, sometimes with other children, sometimes kidnapped and forced into bad situations, sometimes coerced through fantasy mind control.

Check out her dad's nickname too, a character from a kids book:

Following this, Knight chose her father as her election agent for the 2017 general election and also the 2018 council elections. Knight had given her father's name as "Baloo Challenor" on campaign materials, later commenting that he was known locally by this nickname.[

But it was "transphobia" for the green party to get rid of her... those progressives at the green party being well known for transphobia of course.

Anyway, she's seemingly a new Reddit employee and so they seemingly don't want a bad word said against her.

She's been fired, the explanation given here seems legit to me though most of the comments are still pretty angry.

Good case of Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity if you ask me.

This is an obvious flaw with wokeness unfortunately.

Her identity protected her and seemingly having some drama around a trans person, especially after her involvement with the gender-critical subs being shut down, has perhaps lead to them looking past the criticism of her online from GC feminists etc... ergo they've missed some pertinent details that seemingly have been put together by mumsnet posters and the bloke who wrote father ted (he's obsessed with trans people it seems). so presumably quite easy to dismiss as these types are a bit on the crazy spectrum, even though they had some legit, sold criticism.

You can almost guarantee that if there were a mere wiff of her, for example, having said the magical n-word when mouthing or singing along to a hip hop track on say youtube or Tiktok or something they'd have taken that much much more seriously.

Lots of this stuff is reliant on populism, public pressure etc... the NYT editorial board member (an Asian American woman) who had made a series of anti-white tweets was still hired as woke types were cool with it.

The (due to be) Teen Vogue editor (a black woman) lost her job(offer) over some racist (towards Asians) tweets, though she was hanging in the balance for a bit initially, the tipping point was the recent mass shooting and subsequent social media trend of stop Asian hate...

Ironically one of the campaigners against the new editor (an Asian American woman) is now herself facing cancellation attempts as she's been outed for having tweeted the n-word.

There is also some current story, about a San Fransisco school board member! which has reached around the globe (I can understand an issue at a major tech firm or publication but a local school board member, tha'ts just how ridiculous this has become) - she's a black women and has referred to (some) Asian Americans as "house n-words", (she's also responsible in part for dismantling school systems that Asian Americans do well in, not happy about objective testing etc.. ) her woke supporters have framed her tweets as "anti-racist" [because - bunch of silly work justification] - essentially her identity is protecting her at the moment, despite city officials almost universally calling on her to resign.

I can't believe what her father did. Suspended a kid from the rafters in the attic and abused him whilst wearing nappies and a baby costume...wtf!

She didn't know about it apparently, when you're living in a regular house it's often easy to miss another member of the household popping up to the attic to abuse a 10 year old... Just a coincidence that her husband too has posted about his paedo fantasies.

There is also the allegations that she's "liked" some artwork of the victim and some other allegations along the lines of the victim being called a lying **** or something to that effect... it's utterly mad.

Plus, of course, seemingly employing the paedo in an official election-related capacity + as a photographer - a massive safeguarding issue given likely proximity to kids and the fact he's on ail for abusing and photographing a kid!

There is some overlap with trans and mental illness and in this case she seems to be very very mental!

Calling the green party "transphobic" after being kicked out of it should have been a big red flag for the Lib Dems who she was subsequently involved with.

Seemingly she also had some link to a trans charity helping kids! FFS!!!

Oh, that's rather concerning. I definitely feel sorry for people whose sexuality revolves around something so awful, but I'm not sure that's accepting. Treatment over persecution in my mind.

Well yeah there is a clear distinction here between the husband (just some wierdo writing fantasies etc..) and the father, who actually acted on his sick fantasies...

You could have some empathy with the first as just being some mentally ill person (albeit one who might need monitoring/hard drive examined!). Likewise, within say branches of Christianity a priest or vicar can be "gay" so long as they don't actually act on it.

No excuse for her re: the father's arrest and subsequent employment by her. And frankly that does then make the husband's behaviour/tweets all the more questionable.
