Paid £150 for cheap 8GB SSD version of the Acer A110 last year, and I have loved using it. It has been on holiday with me and has been invaluable for surfing, email, online tv via FILMON and online radio.

I have had installed on this little beastie so far Linpus Lite, Windows XP, Ubuntu 9.04, Windows Vista, Windows 7 RC and now I have Windows Server 2008 standard installed, with Eset Business antivirus running and the little girl just loves it. I am running the server 2008 workstation mods as well and it is very nice.

Ps I am at Open University so I get free access to Dreamspark so I get the server 2008 inc retail serial for free.;):D

I had one for a little while, sold it in the end though. I'm not sure if it was the crap SSD Acer use, but it was just too sluggish even for basic use, to the point of being frustrating. Wasn't keen on the trackpad either.

May give it a few months and take a look at the new EeePCs. It's a shame that they virtually all come with XP and HDDs now, I quite fancied one with a good SSD.

I have the samsund SSD in mine and it was very sluggish with Windows 7 RC 7100, browsing was slow and stuttery, but this Server 2008 feels just as quick as Ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix. Apps open quickly, Browsing is quick, flash plays well through Firefox. Pretty impressed so far.
