. You throw used towels in bath or shower cubicle
. You have the tv on with an English language news station for background noise. As news stations are the only English speaking channels. Why? I jumped with joy to discover History Channel in English in a hotel in Croatia.
. You put your week’s of clothes on three hangers.
. You hang a mirror the furthest part of the room to a plug point.
. You get dressed for breakfast

Any more you can think of?

Can you explain this one?
I don’t use a hairdryer or straighters. Those who do, such as my mum, say that the plug points and mirrors are hardly next to each other. The hotel supplied hairdryer isn’t much cop.

Though mum will be impressed with the hotel room im in as by a mirror has a plug point.

The tea/coffee point will always be midway between the nearest cold water tap and a mains outlet.

Whomever supplies the fancy sinks in posh hotels doesn’t talk to whomever supplies the kettles as there’s a 50/50 chance of you being able to fit the kettle under the tap and, even if you can, you won’t be able to get it anywhere near full.

Simple thing is to use the cup or glass beaker the room has to fill up from tap then transfer to kettle.

I stayed in a hotel where room had bottle opener on side of wardrobe, by desk. It was positioned too low for opening bottles. Was able to open a bottle by striking bottom of cap on edge of desk
