You look at a 407SW and think "hmmm what a nice large practical car", I might as well get my slippers/pipe and Horlicks now.

It amazes me that anyone could look at any of the peugeot range and actually consider buying one.

The 407 saloon is horrible, the snout is too large and the rear of the car is nasty, but the estate (SW) version seems to balance out the large snout with a big bum.

I don't think they look too bad at all!

But they are slow, boring, and as dull as possible in a car. They just have no redeeming features and the thought of them is just mindnumbing.

Each to their own i guess, for me they just stir no emotion at all.

Don't forget it'll break every 5 minutes :p

….. when you buy a Honda and say “it’ll do me”.

Got told this when I bought my Honda, in fact I also now own a Volvo estate and got this for practical dog transportation. LOL

The dream of owning that hot sports car is dwindling for me. Life be a harsh mystery…

The cure to the problem you are describing is simple. I have a practical, economical and large French Car for lugging stuff around in and tearing all over the country in and a Roadster for the weekends for a bit of fun and social driving.

I keep thinking that having a more useful boot and rear seats with enough room for people would be good.

Yes I also want a 2 seater next..
