I am refering to the thread about the British troops. How can some of you sit there and slate the army. It might be ok for you in your £25k or more jobs sitting at home with a nice family. Wake up! These people are putting their lives at risk and most people on this board have NOT got a clue about what is happening. The world is not a nice place.

Having witnessed the brutality of some British soldiers first hand (specifically UDR/RIR) I feel justified when I criticize their methods. Admitedly some of the people who got beatings deserved it although some innocents were subjected to it too.
I was under the impression that the solidiers were there to keep the peace.
