Hi all,

Just wondering what people have in their essential software wallet. Ive got an Nlite automated XP install, Hirens boot cd, an office 2003 disk.

Looking to expand a bit and also after recommendations on a bootable linux cd where linux runs from the disk.

What do you want it to do? :) Desktop recovery, or system tools?
 
for work, use RIS (scripted and GPO, no riprep unless absolutly nessacery)

At home just install from default cd's, used to have scripted installed but cba to make them anymore
 
for when im sorting other peoples pcs i usually carry ultimate boot cd and a live cd of konoppix that usually does me
 
I put together my own DVD with Hundreds of bits of software on it and can be used to Install XP from, comes to around 4.5Gig and is very handy.

Here is a list of the folders (not software) contained on it to give you an idea of what software is on it...

This disk is more for setting up a new PC rather than fixing one though...
