You, yourself ...... one, oneself

General question really, regarding the correct use of these words. I'm aware that using you/yourself is wrong unless you're directly referring to a person you're talking to. Whereas using one/oneself is talking about people in general, for example this sentence (which is referring to people in general):

"You make all details about yourself available to the world at large"

Should be:

"One makes all details about oneself available to the world at large"

Is this correct?

Is the sentence in any particular context, ie describing the use of MySpace for example?

If it is, referring to the individual in context (user) would be better than 'one'.
