So just had a letter through door that youfibre fttp is available for what seems to be an amazing price

We currently pay £20 a month for 65/15 via talktalk/openreach and tbh.. Its been good.

But this is a crazy good offer from youfibre.
Its 20 a month for 2 years, no price rises for 150/150 (I believe it's up and down?)

Just wanting to know if anyone else is on it and if it's any good?

Thanks!

You should be able to negotiate 150 Mbps for £17.99. If you early bird you get a 10% discount at a minimum. Should be able to get it for £15.99 if you push hard.

Surely not if it's up and running?

Just spoken to someone local who has it. They said it was down for a day in their first month. Which doesn't fill me with confidence tbh

You don't get if you don't ask. Be aggressive. They are the ones in millions of pounds of debt BEGGING for people to sign up. What you have learned can help:

"I would like to sign up but after talking to neighbor at xy address they stated the internet was down for a day so I am concerned about reliability. I would need to have the price looked at for me to even consider signing up. I also know there is an early bird discount so I would like that at minimum".

Least you get out of this? You play TalkTalk against them for zero risk. State your leaving as 150 Mbps is great and that YouFibre will pay your termination charge so you have no reason not to leave. All of a sudden TalkTalk will be calling you back with a cheaper deal than £20 to recontract. Remember TalkTalk is also in financial difficulty right now selling off half its assets. They need every subscriber they can.

The latter is actually what I'm expecting now.
It worked when I used virgin deal last time. I was never going to go with virgin due to thiers horrendous price increases but talk talk dropped to 18 a month.

Its worth a try.

There's already a huge thread, it would be best to keep all conversation in there, to keep it relevant and easily searchable.

Hopefully a mod comes along and merges the two.
