No, its a story, that others might find a decent read. So shutup.
Ill be honest, that broom looks rubbish, you'd have to hold it at an exact angle for both heads to touch the ground by the looks of it.
Must have been a slow day in the news room.

It's the fact that a five year old did it, a FIVE year old. It's a good idea, in theory. iBot's 19 going on 35 and can't string a sentance, quite and achivement imo

Actually it says he was 3 when he came up with the idea..... 3 years old. How real do you think this story is?

When I was little, like 5+ years old I remember running around the workshop in my uncles garage with an extra long bruch, that proberbly did a better job!, I also remember using 2 brushes together should I have got it patented?![]()
Its been ages since i was 3, and i dont have regular contact with young children, but im pretty sure at 3 years old your brain doesnt even understand the concept of creating new objects or improving/changing existing ones.
Its the water / not breast feeding your babies.
You dont give the brain what it needs when its forming so you have a stupid baby.
they are more advanced that a brush but I'm sure we all build and designed stuff when we were little, I mean the antenna was just an extreamly long piece of metal for my little battery powered radio and the drainage system was just like some pipes under the ground and a drain thing with a hosepipe
.I'm at a complete loss to know what your talking about now.
Well asking for proof is stupid, only his parents know whats going on. But yes, my reason is simply that i dont think a 3 year old can handle the relatively advanced concepts discussed in that news article. Whats more likely is that the kid got a couple of broom and started playing with them and putting them ontop of each other, with no thought about what he was doing, and his parents came up with the rest.

BBC said:"I was swapping from one broom to the other and he asked why. When I said it was to pick up the different leaves and twigs it must have got him thinking.
"He got a large elastic band from the shed and put it over the two brooms, holding them just the right way to use both together. He then called me and announced that had had made up an invention."
