Your Attainable Dream Car?

I have owned a Lotus carlton but really want a VXR8 but just cannot justify the cost and need any money I have for coming out the forces and a house etc. But one day...

Some absolute crackers in this thread :)

For me it would be a toss up between 3, but would buy them as project cars

in no particular order
1.

Jenson Interceptor, think they are absolutely stunning cars and have wanted one since being taken through the lakes district by a friend dad in one when I was a kid.

2.

Triumph Dolomite Sprint, absolutely love these things, my dad had one when I was younger and I remember the smile it used to put on his face when he drove it.

3.
Peugeot205GTi.jpg

Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9, silly reason really, used to own a little 1100 205GL and it was a fun little car to drive even if a little slow, so would love the GTi for the fun and speed.

Think the are all attainable as long as I remember that I'd never buy a mint example. Then again I would prefer to do them as projects anyway.

I'd love a recent 911 some day. I was going to say a GTR, but as I've gotten older I think I'd prefer something more subtle to avoid feeling a bit of an arse.

If you've going to get a 205 GTI get one soon. I have a real feeling that the prices for a good one is going to explode one of these days :).

So while we all dream of owning Ferraris, we're not all owners of computer hardware stores. :p

Some of us have to tone down what we target as that dream car. Of course, we still dream of those supercars or classics, it's only normal, but we all have that idea of a car we'd like to own which is maybe that bit more of a possibility.

What's yours? :)

Personally, mine is more than attainable.

Good lad

Had a picture of a Caterham on the wall next to my desk at my first job when I started as a software developer at 17. Said to myself "one day...", as you do. Fast forward 5 years and I bought one. Still enjoying it today, never looked back and there's nothing I would consider to replace it :)

So I'm very pleased to say that I already own my attainable dream car!

It doesn't have a Ford badge so it won't explode in price but as good examples get few and far between, people will be bumping up the prices.
