Your best split screen co-op games!

Just thinking of all the great times Ive had playing split screen co-op games throughout the years, and thought it would be cool to make a thread on here!

I also just completed Gears of War with my brother on insane, so thats got me in the mood ;) (didnt really like the game that much mind...)

Heres some of the top of my head:

Golden Axe - Mega Drive
Streets of rage 1&2 - Mega Drive
Alien Storm - Mega Drive

Firo and Klawd - PS1
Fighting Force - PS1

Timesplitters - PS2

Halo 3 - 360
Gears of war - 360 (well, suppose it made you work hard as a team ;))

Like I say, those are of the top of my head - add ya own lads :D
 
Any of the Halo games
International Superstar Soccer 64 (N64)
Timesplitters on the PS2
Rainbow Six Vegas (My favorite Co-Op game on Xbox 360)

Goldeneye - N64
Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge Series - Atari ST (Lotus 1 with Track03 on the stereo blazing round the Mexico course....magical.)
 
That xbox that was like micromachines but wasnt and was awesome! Forgot the name of it though!

How can people prefer online gaming over split-screen? Nothing beats having the people you're fighting with/against right there next to you.

As for the original question, nothing beats that classic Streets of Rage/Golden Axe combo on the Mega Drive.

I really enjoyed Halo 3 co-op too. Had never seen the appeal of the franchise until I gave that a try.

Love coop split screen games with the girlfriend !

Personal faves are the Halo series (still going through Halo 2), and even though its not split screen, Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

BTW, is there anyway of doing Rainbow 6 Vegas, split screen coop in campaign mode?
