Then down from a 306bhp BMW 335i to a Ford Mondeo TDCI.

530i to e39 M5 would be the biggest upgrade in terms of power, although given they were such similar cars, the Mondeo Mk3 -> 530i felt the bigger upgrade in terms of overall package.

So an upgrade in car but a downgrade in power,
Contemplating a serious downgrade to a 125 moped for next years comuting.

The corsa gave up lol! Can't really complain the megane has cost me 1 exhaust 1 set of discs and pads 1 set of tyres and a few bulbs only in the last 4 years!

200 bhp 6 cylinder 24 valve volvo 960 estate to a 265 bhp 5 cylinder (tuned) mondeo 2.5t estate. I miss the rwd, but then again Fwd makes me not scared of booting it. Now I want more power!

50bhp Mini Sprite (ish, would've loved to see it dynoed ) to a 115bhp MX5.

MX5 will be replaced by something end of this/next year. Current top of the list is a 350Z which is 287 or 300bhp depending on which one I get (don't want to jump to the higher tax bracket cars, nor pay the extra for them).

Other contender is an RX8 which is 231. I'd like the 4 seats but I'd use them very rarely, and the breakage factor is an issue
